Kygon for Captain. For myself I should really be support, tho our team is so small I've ended up in the front team for the last 3 years despite my meager skills that have stayed pretty much the same since I took over this avatar 2 and a half years ago.

I'll let you know closer to the time if there are any issues.

72 Agility
160 Health ;)

Got some Rutuba if hunting anything big.

Should be enough info me thinks.

Just a friendly reminder... WoF Team Captains need to be confirmed by 10 JAN 2010 :thumbup:

In a few weeks, we will start talking about the first mob list for Stage 1 - Proving Ground.

I realize some team are larger than others, but don't let that scare anyone... remember:

Serbia won a WoF Match in 2007 with one hunter: Max Maxa Freezer defeating Amethera 33 - 4 :cool: (Somewhat a legend in WoF Lore)

Yeah, lost a few regulars to the Welsh, but most of the team just don't seem to be interested this year. :/

Still, even with 4 people I'm seeing in the lists that there are teams of 3, 2 and even just 1 entering so even if I have to represent Scotland solo I'll still do it.

If Kygon's not joining this year then I guess Radio would be the logical choice for Captain given that he held it for a short while last year, tho I can picture Sheeps as Captain too.
I only intend to be Captain if I'm the only one taking part. :)

Can't commit this year .... but I'll sure help out if I'm home, I'll keep watch for the Scotland matches.
 
It's the 10th, so I suppose myself or mad-sheep will be captain this year.

Greetings Team Scotland and welcome to WoF 2010.

I see from your thread you have chosen Radio as your Captain.

Now your Captain must choose their Main Team and PM this information to Rayne Jade as soon as possible, and NO LATER than February 10th.


***IMPORTANT NEWS***

Firstly, it's NEVER too late to recruit: The Rules are that No Main Team member who has scored for one Nation may join the Main Team of another Nation. Main Team/Support Team members can be recruited AT ANY TIME and added to your squad. While the Tournament is underway, adding or dropping Main Team members must be confirmed by PM to Rayne Jade or Myself.

Due to less teams taking part than with previous Tournaments;
The Schedule has been altered to accommodate the difference. Stage 3 will now be an "against-the-world" Stage (like the Qualifiers) rather than an "against-an-opponent" Stage.
This means ALL registered Teams will have 5 hunts to provide a qualifying score.

The WoF will now run as follows:

Stage 1: Proving Ground: Qualifier 1,
1 hunt, 1 moblist
Stage 2: Heavy Metal: Qualifier 2,
1 hunt, 1 moblist
Stage 3: Sponsored Round,
3 Hunts on same Moblist (Qualifiers 3, 4 &5 )

All qualifying scores will be added to give the 5-match total. The highest 12 scores will progress to the TI-Sponsored Stage 4 to battle it out in groups as in previous years.

Moblists will be revealed after the last match of each Stage is played.

But: I know you're all dying to get started, and want to know what sort of things are planned for you.... and wish to practise too.

So here's the Stage 1 Moblist.

As it stands, this list contains NO enhanced spawns, either by MA or Land Owners. If Land Owners who own these Mobs wish to offer tailored spawns, they are welcome to do so. Please bear in mind that the main Stage for inclusion of sponsored Mobs is Stage 3, please pm me or Rayne Jade with your details and Mobs offered.

Chomper (Any Maturity) 9
Kingfisher (Provider and Above) 8
Falxangius (Old and Below) 7
Cersumon (Any Maturity) 6
Kingfisher (Old and Below) 5

Support:
Gokibusagi (Any Maturity) 4
Argonaut (Scavenger and Above) 3
Faucervix (Any Maturity) 2
Argonaut (Guardian and Below) 1

Bonus: Exarosaur (Any Maturity) 25

START/FINISH LOCATION: TETHYS CREEK, EUDORIA


Dates: February 13th/14th

TimeSlots:

14:00, 18:00, 22:00 Saturday

07:00, 11:00 Sunday

Hunt Team: 4 Members of Main Team.
Support Team: Size Unlimited, Scoring Capped at 100

For Bonuses etc please consult the Rules thread.

Please pick your time early and pm Rayne Jade or myself. Until Stage 4 is reached, there is no need to arrange matches with opponents, as the first 5 matches are "against the world".

So long as I'm not up till 4 AM or it's a weekday or something then I'm fine :p

I can offer an M2a or an Opalo, and a Vivo T5 :)
 
I can't afford to hunt as I just don't have the dosh, but could heal. Not sure about Valentines weekend mind u..... seems a bit of a stupid start date as I am sure it will cause row's between couples where the partner is not an EU player!! (thinking from a womans point of view here)

Im available for anytime on the saturday, not at all on valentines day.

Got some bad news I'm afraid. We were unable to get a new place to live in time, so will need to remain where we are, with no internet, for another month.
I won't be able to take part in the first 2 games. :(
 
I have applied earlier in this Thread, But my twin that i stay with lost his job just b4 xmas and I've been paying for everything. He's only recently got another job this week so not sure what the cash will be like. I'll try my best to join.

I was hoping to have a DOA LM by this time but guess RL comes first. :(

I can think of at least three Scots who said they would join us this year, but none of them use EF, so I can only get a hold of them via my FL - and as I can't get in the game just now it's not much use!

All of you look out for these people in game:

"Inverness Caley Thistle"
"Watch This Space"
"Something CandyQueen Something"

That third one I can't recall the first and last name, but Watch This Space is the sibling of her (all female avatars) so if you find one you can get the other.

depdning on what time we hunt i will try bring in some support.
 
Yes, that's pretty much our lot at the moment. Short of putting ads up in game I don't see what else we can do :)

Could everyone please post their general availability so that we can choose the best time for our hunts.

I work Monday to Friday, normally finished by 7pm but can leave early if required.
 
My time scale.

I work all Backshifts and Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat. i finish at 8.30 ish.

Thursday Friday i finish at 9.30 takes me 5-10minz to get home if i get out on time.

Am off EVERY! Sunday. Am not bothered about V-Day.

I can stay up til 3am if need be too :)

(I could try and finish on the hour.)

Work in Morrisons woot! Shit ano but its a job for now :D
 
Mon/Thurs - Unavailable
Friday - from 9:30pm
Sat - Work all day, but can throw a 'sickie' to compete(I would prefer no early sat night hunts, but will do them if no other time avail.)
Sun - Should be no problems
