Entropia Nexus - My take on a wiki I guess

I noticed that some mobs like Araneatrox and Caperon (did not check others) do not list cat 4 codex skills for ranks 5/15/25.

For example I'm using Ziplex TK220 (L), when i only fire enmatter probe it decays about 0.019, then ore by itself is 0.019 too, when both used 0.038.
You have the decay as 3.96 PEC, which is probably more accurate, but seems to be when firing both ore and enmatter.

This data is from Entropiawiki so I can't make statements about the accuracy oif that data. That decay should ofc be only per single operation and be double/triple the amount based on how many drops are being done at once.

For example as a use case, I go to Items -> Materials and search for Animal Hide, when selecting and looking at the acquisition table I might sort by Frequency to find how to loot it fastest but I would also want to filter the Planet by a free text filtering for only the planet I am currently on or because I don't want to fly far away. One could also search the Mob to find familiar mobs first.
That would improve usability even further (even when it is already quite good).

I'll keep this in mind and will probably add it since it doesn't really have any downside. This can probably partially be done by sorting by columns but for big tables might still be annoying

Yes, this is because I did not have that data available to copy. There is an editing feature if you login and verify on the Discord so if you want to help fixing some of those issues that would be great :)
 
Since Entropiawiki is more or less permanently down now, I'll give this thread a bump. https://entropianexus.com/ is a good alternative to Entropiawiki when the Entropiawiki is up, now it's the only alternative :D

Hey, thanks again for putting this together.

Have used the site a fair bit lately, particularly for mob info.

Lil bit of feedback. When checking for mob info on your page the only times I had to switch to wiki again was when checking for damage type (CSI etc) & mob locations. (Not for all mobs but for many)

May be a lil more tedious to put this info together, especially location, but would definitely add a lot of value to people looking for mob info.

Any chance to update this part? May be reach out to planet devs for a text file with types & locations or something like that.

Possibly reach out to whoever posted the various mob maps here on pcf or the planet specific forums. Those people might have info in raw format still.

i feel like every planet deserves a great site like cyrenedream or nihelper

Yes, the API crashed temporarily due to a bug. When that stuff happens the best way to contact me is via the Discord :)

Hey, first off thanks!

Getting all the data for locations and damage types is ALOT of research as it is quite tedious to do since you wouldn't only have to check every mob, but every maturity. Definitely not something I am gonna do on my own, tho I did think of maybe incentivizing people with rewards that may come from sponsors to keep stuff updated. Would be a nice alternative to make some "free" PED in comparison to survey wall offers or stuff like that.

I did reach out to MA in the past, also some planet partners, but they can't share that data sadly. I got most data from the current wiki and some from different sources in the community, be it direct reports, older forum posts, existing info websites (cyrenedream, NI Helper), etc.

If I am gonna add all that data I want to be sure it's quality and it is gonna be mostly complete.

No worries man, happy to hear it!

I really wanted to make a solution for the whole game, not just specific planets, so I have no plans on doing anything planet-specific but to keep it more general.

I can only say that I absolutely rely on the community to keep stuff up-to-date, as I am not always maintaining this myself when I am not currently playing the game actively. If you are curious join the Discord and we can talk :)
 
@everyone Hey there Entropians!

To keep the wiki up-to-date and encouraging more contributions, as well as add more features to the site I am looking for people that would be interested in advertising Entropia-related services. This includes other sites, LAs, events, shops, etc.

The income will be used to put up incentives for contributors to keep the wiki up-to-date, as well as continued development for the website. The details of the the former will be announced in a future update but you will basically be able to receive compensation in the form of PED for adding and updating data on the wiki.

If you are interested in advertising your Entropia-related services or want to sponsor the site please DM me with your proposals! I prefer being DM'd via Discord, so if you DM me on the forum you might not get as quick of a response.

I want to keep the website on topic and avoid having to display any obnoxious advertisements or 3rd party trackers, so I think this can be a great way to keep the websites information high quality and useful for everyone.
 
unrelated to the above but does anyone else not see the stats of items correctly on chrome? I mean, when looking at a weapon for example, the right most window, with the picture and stuff like dps, eff etc. On edge these seem to be in different rows grouped together. On Chrome they seem to be in columns and there the first column on the very left cant be reached with the scroll bar. I tried deactivating all extensions and clearing the cache, both didnt help.

This is Chrome:

would really appreciate some help, or ideas. I assume its some setting on my end since noone else mentioned it here.

I have Chrome and it looks correct there.
Are you running the latest version?

That for sure looks weird, make sure to update Chrome and deactivate extensions if possible (I think using an Incognito tab might do the trick). I think it's more likely that something interferes with the website being rendered correctly. If you find out what causes it specifically let me know, also let me know if my suggestions helped to fix it.
 
yeah I updated chrome, didnt fix it. deactivating all extensions doesnt work either. But using incognito does, which is good enough for me. thank you!!

Well pretty sure it is something with your chrome installation or your operating system then but it can be a ton of things. If you ever find out what it is let me know :)
