I made a quick video of the technique for a friend, so he could get his pull, Its not perfect but shows the general idea. ( I am not actually making a pull in the video, but you can imagine it saying no items available over and over till the refill hits and it pulls the item.) Just in case...

Not necessarily, I got the second hof the other day, so second person who made a pull, by manually clicking. Just as others have said, dont wait for the refil, just buy when the time is correct.
