SIMON & EMMA - "The Flipside" - (VIDEOS)

I decided to try a new format ... and therefore, why I'm a day late with posting "The Flipside" of Simon and Emma. I had to make two videos ... one for the photo shoot on Day 1, and one for the video shoot on Day 2. Day 1 (video #1) is all photos, but I think you'll get the message, and it kinda sets the tone for the second video which is in fact video footage.

Recently ... I presented the community with an article that told the tale of MA Guides Simon and Emma, and the historical path they have taken since the Guides were first introduced in January of 2007.

During the photo shoots ... I was just interested in getting photos that I could use for the article, but I got to see a side of Simon and Emma that I knew right out the gate that I had to share with the EU community. The second photo shoot was scheduled because of the new information center being added to PA, but in both sessions, one thing led to another, and I was a captive audience.

So here's where the story continues ... ENJOY!!

This was my first try at this format ... so with a little more practice, and getting to know this software better, perhaps I can jazz 'em up even more, who knows ... I had fun with it though, but won't be doing another one for a while ... it's very time-consuming. :laugh:

As a disclaimer ... it was all in fun, and as a storyteller, it's always nice to be able to play off the actions of others who feed the storyline. I never know where a story is going until I either look at the photos, or the video ... that's when it starts gelling, and I thank Simon, Emma and Felicia for being such good sports. :D

Thanks Hon, much appreciated ... it was fun putting them together, although I'm not sure why it's taking so long to load up ... could that be because there's a narrative track? ... I'm beginning to think it might be, because I was watching Dion's video in the Indy convention thread and that too was taking a while to load. I don't have issues with anything else, so if anyone has an answer to this, let me know. :)
 
hehe, They were VERY good.

I never watch long video's, but this time I could see you sitting hours and hours to make this movie so I took 15 mins from my life to watch It :)

and I got impressed, both by you adn the Guide's :)

Thank you very much ... I'm glad you enjoyed them. It was quite a different format for me, but I wanted to give it a try. I will be using it again with video footage in the near future with a different project, so we'll see how that one turns out.

I think ... if the content of a video is somewhat entertaining, then the length shouldn't be a huge issue, even though I know that some people like watching shorter videos. My videos usually average about 5 minutes, so they're not all really long, and I try to be mindful of that. Sometimes though, a project requires a little extra time ... and in this case, even two videos ... Simon and Emma were worth it. :D
 
I bet you didn't know Simon had the plasma gun on the teleporter run, but couldn't handle it, so Emma had to take it away because he just was a danger with it to everyone!

You're right ... I didn't know that ... but I'm wondering what the real story is behind that. ;)

Hey, guess what? ... I never did get to see Simon's big weapon ... you would think that he would at least pull it out in the Octagon, right? ;)

I thought he was going to when he took his pants off. At least Emma got to play with it in Part 2 :D

We are just BAAAAAAD ... :laugh: ... the liberties a storyteller takes, eh? I just hope that Simon won't shy away from a future session (I mean interview) should something new pop up ... oh geez, this isn't going well, is it. :rolleyes:

Oh that's too FUNNY Moogs ... Simon is such a great sport ... and handles (or diffuses) situations like this usually with return humor ... he's just great. :D

I remember awhile back being in PA and giving Simon a hard time cause I couldn't find the bathroom, he just played along with me :)

Oh that's too funny ... but he plays along quite well that one ... you would think though that he too had an issue finding the bathroom as well given his pose so often in the pics and footage of these two videos. :laugh:

These two are such a delight. :D

That's a good question ... the only time I've ever seen them actually interact with mobs is while escorting new players to various TP's ... or, in the case of Simon, when he got busy wiping out mobs at PA once to help out the newbies when there was an invasion of Exos and Daks I believe ... other than that, I'm not exactly sure. Perhaps that should have been one of my questions during the interview ... I need to be more thoughtful about these things. :D

Well hello there Simon ... thanks for taking the time to pop by, and also thanks again to you and Emma (and Felicia) for sharing as much time with me as you did, it's greatly appreciated. It was just too much fun. :D
